I recently came across this floral-heavy dining room by interior design firm Galanes Haverland and just had to share. (Thanks, Desire to Inspire!) I think it's incredible that the room uses a busy wallpaper pattern, an enormous piece of floral-motif artwork, and a floral arrangement but still manages to look understated.

I agree, that is pretty cool looking.
The design is almost perfect if not for theflower mural.
Great look for a room! I, personally, would not do the same. But sure looks nice.
I agree, not my preference, but it is so pretty!
It looks understated because the table is so rustic. If it was shiny and sleek, it would look overdone. I like it.
Looks great...except for the chairs. They're a little too conference-center for me. But the artwork is beautiful.
Gorgeous!
it's pretty cool how they incorporated that floral, traditional piece into a such modern room...
Oh, I wish I knew where that table was from. And I've always loved that wallpaper. It's an old David Hicks design.
I feel dizzy looking at it
I don't like the wallpaper, but everything looks cute and chic.
I LOVE THE DINNING TABLE!!
that is the most amazing table ever!!!
Definitely not for me. I like pieces of it, but not altogether like that.
Love it!
This looks like a very lazy designer did this. LOL
Looks really lovely.
That table is outstanding!!!
forget the flowers! where do i get that table? i need it!
I couldn't do this in my dining room because I think that it looks too steril if it wasn't for the artwork. I need more color, there is just too much neautral.
I like the floral mural but nothing else about this room suits my style at all. It's too all over the place. The table looks old while the wallpaper is far too modern. The chairs are just plain hideous. It looks really cheap and thrown together.
wassup with the wall? I was getting dizzy looking at it.
