You know those disposable shower caps you get in hotel rooms? Rather than tossing them out, try using them as an alternative to not-quite-clingy-enough plastic wrap when covering food and bowls. This probably goes without saying, but please, unused shower caps only! They're also really easy to wash and reuse.

Great idea. Now I'll be taking these from every hotel I stop in!
1interesting..
2That's a fabulous idea! No more playing around with clingy saran-wrap.
3great great idea!
4That is a GREAT idea!
5I'm definatly going to use that one!
I HATE saran-wrap, and this is the perfect solution!
If I don't use the hotel shower cap, I just leave it for the next person in it's wrapper. Saran wrap makes covers like these that are great.
6This is a great idea!
7hey- this used to be on the market. colorful wraps with elastic (looked exactly like shower caps) and came in different sizes, Reynolds or Saran wrap made these - quick covers?- but discontinued them like 2-3 years ago. I need to get some shower caps for this purpose- i was so bummed when I couldn't find them anywhere.
8This is a cool idea, but are the shower caps food-safe? Anybody else remember when it was cool to toss salad for a group in a trash bag, or store emergency water in empty bleach bottles? Then the manufacturers said the bags and bottles weren't food-safe containers.
9great idea and much more eco friendly then tossing them!
10I have the ones expressly made for bowl covers and have made the comment that they're basically shower caps! These are soooo convenient! I have washed and resused mine until the elastic gives out, haha.
11This sounds so much better than trying to put saran wrap that just WON'T stick onto a bowl!!
12great idea! i wouldn't buy those cling wrap things with elastic but a free shower cap would be great on so many things.
