I haven't ever really looked at home magazines before, but if I had to check one out, I'd probably pick up InStyle, RealSimple or Oprah's home mag(because you know it's got decorating tips
from all of her hot decorators)
Metropolitan Home, mainly because it's the only one I have really looked at.-I am subscribed to it because a client was running an ad in it that I designed. But it's got some great stuff in
it!
I read BluePrint, Martha Stewart and Domino. I think Domino is my favorite--although I probably could hardly ever afford anything they show in that magazine. It's all gorgeous don't get me
wrong, but when I see $2800 for a sofa, I'm like OMG!!!!
I've seen Real Simple and always wanted to check it out--just never have yet. Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
I love Blueprint but I didn't vote for it coz the best for me is not on the list---my no. 1 on the list is "Budget Decorating" by Woman's Day publishers
Domino is my favorite. Just subscribed to Blueprint, but haven't seen it yet. Look promising. Also love In Style Home, Cottage Living, Country Living and Country Home.
I like them all; I have subscriptions to Domino and House Beautiful and I steal my sister's Real Simple, and I probably buy one or more of the others every month. I have an Interior Design
degree but have a boring desk job, so I guess that would explain my obsession.
The only reason I don't like Cottage Living is because I know a girl that used to work there and she was horrible...the people writing their articles might not have the greatest taste or
sense of style...lol
Domino is the best home magazine. I have every issue but one and I constantly go back to refer to them. Domino helped me choose the colors for my living room, dining room, and small walkway.
Just like Lucky, it has real solutions, clear pictures, and a quirky sense of style.
I read Dwell, Interior Design, Contract, Azule, and sometimes Metropolis. Most are contract design magazines, but I stick to dwell for home stuff. I got real tired of real simple. Just seemed
repetitive. I have glanced through the others, but nothing struck me enough to subscribe.
Blueprint is my new fav. It seems to fit in a nice place between Martha Stewart and Real Simple for me. I also love Domino, but it's not a monthly purchase for me.
I always call Real Simple the "no duh" magazine. I love all the suggestions, but I always laugh since it's seems like I already knew that.
I subscribe to "Su Casa" magazine. It is a magazine that focuses on the high-end Pueblo Revival, Territorial and rustic Spanish design prevalent in Southwest U.S. Many of the structures
featured in Su Casa are actual historic adobe buildings that have been around for hundreds of years. I am not talking about that awful, trendy pastel interiors that were popular in the 80's.
it's been a while since i've looked at a copy, but isn't 'domino' just one big advertisement? i mean, i know most magazines are, for the most part. but domino always struck me as shamelessly
asking you to pay for a year's worth of ads.
I like Real Simple...the layout is great, the articles are great. However, they seem to recycle ideas and articles after a few years. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I also like
Architectural Digest.
Love, love, love Real Simple! A while ago people were raving about Blueprint, and I had to check it out. I can't say I was too impressed and so I can't live without my Real Simple. Is Domino
great or is it too expensive and too many advertisements like someone mentioned above?
I just started getting a new magazine from the Knot (wedding site). They now have a home magazine called the Nest, and I love the magazine and the website!
i've subscribed to Domino since the first, but lately I've been getting tired of all the giant cigarette ads...they've doubled in number and size in the last few months! Don't know why it
bothers me, but it just seems out of place. I think I'll check out Real Simple and Blueprint since you all have such great things to say about them.
House Beautiful is a favorite of mine, but it is more of a high end magazine. It's great to look at though. My second favorite is Domino. They have great contemporary ideas.
THe UK's Living Etc...is by far the best!, the second would be Domino...I wish they would have a little less advertising and more substance, I love the home features and product
reviews....
A little more variety in price ranges would be great.... most magazines focous so much on the two extremes, not everyone wants to shop at IKEA nor is everyone interested in $12K sofa, or a
$5k chair!
I absolutely LOVE DWELL magazine. It really gives me some great ideas on how to decorate my living space. I also appreciate the fact that they feature designers that design space for
sustainability (v. important).
My favorite is the UK's Ideal Home. I always feel like the trends are way ahead and I'm always in the know. It's pricey for US delivery but I look forward to my monthly delivery!!
While I'm subscribed to Blueprint, Domino and MSL and read Dwell and Real Simple when I find them around, the magazine that really has my heart is Romantic Homes. I prefer a more vintage-y
style which drives my boyfriend batty!
I voted for Domino. But there are 2 UK magazines that I completely adore, Elle Decoration (UK edition) and Living Etc. The photo layouts and tips are fabulous. The decor featured tends to be
a really modern mix of items that are high end, mid-range, inexpensive, vintage or a sometimes just a creative something that a nest builder happened to come up with.
Real Simple isnt very architecturally forward, but i like how the magazine can offer more than decor ideas to its readers. Very real and very simple. Anyone can relate.

1Cottage Living and Real Simple. House Beautiful is great too but generally more expensive stuff.
2im not in the home magazine....i jus like to glance at the kool furniture but my mom subscribes to dwell..lol
3Metropolitan Home, mainly because it's the only one I have really looked at.-I am subscribed to it because a client was running an ad in it that I designed. But it's got some great stuff in it!
4Instyle Home

8Blueprint and Real Simple.
9I like Cottage Living the best.
10I like them all; I have subscriptions to Domino and House Beautiful and I steal my sister's Real Simple, and I probably buy one or more of the others every month. I have an Interior Design degree but have a boring desk job, so I guess that would explain my obsession.
11Elle Decor and House and Garden
12InStyle Home and Architectural Digest (if that counts, they have some good decorating ideas)
13Domino, Blueprint, Real Simple.
14I marked Real Simple but I also really like Domino.
15blueprint is the best!!!
The only reason I don't like Cottage Living is because I know a girl that used to work there and she was horrible...the people writing their articles might not have the greatest taste or sense of style...lol
16I like Martha and Real Simple. British edition home magazines also have some great stuff.
17I like most of the choices, but Domino rules for me.
18Domino is the best home magazine. I have every issue but one and I constantly go back to refer to them. Domino helped me choose the colors for my living room, dining room, and small walkway. Just like Lucky, it has real solutions, clear pictures, and a quirky sense of style.

20Real Simple, is Real Beautiful!
I love to look at the items in the
magazine, but I also like to look
how it's designed. I am a graphic
designer so I look at everything!
The West Elm catalog....simply beautiful
21to look at and it doesn't hurt that
they have FABULOUS items!
I subscribe to both Domino and RealSimple, but RS gets my vote.
22Blueprint is my new fav. It seems to fit in a nice place between Martha Stewart and Real Simple for me. I also love Domino, but it's not a monthly purchase for me.
I always call Real Simple the "no duh" magazine. I love all the suggestions, but I always laugh since it's seems like I already knew that.
23House and Garden and Real Simple.
24I love Domino.
25Cottage Living
26i can't limit it just to one! domino, blueprint and real simple are my top choices for sure.
27Have to admit I haven't tried anything but Real Simple since I get so much from it. Didn't realize there were so many out there!
28I really like House Beautiful and Metropolitan Home. I just started getting one called "Home" which I really like as well.
29I subscribe to "Su Casa" magazine. It is a magazine that focuses on the high-end Pueblo Revival, Territorial and rustic Spanish design prevalent in Southwest U.S. Many of the structures featured in Su Casa are actual historic adobe buildings that have been around for hundreds of years. 34I never thought of Real Simple as a home magazine. It's more of a lifestyle magazine.
35Dwell is my all-time favorite.
i've subscribed to Domino since the first, but lately I've been getting tired of all the giant cigarette ads...they've doubled in number and size in the last few months! Blueprint may replace my Real Simple because I'm not entirely the Real Simple demographic. I've tried to read Dwell, but it doesn't call to me.
39I absolutely LOVE DWELL magazine. It really gives me some great ideas on how to decorate my living space. I also appreciate the fact that they feature designers that design space for sustainability (v. important).
40My favorite is the UK's Ideal Home. I always feel like the trends are way ahead and I'm always in the know. It's pricey for US delivery but I look forward to my monthly delivery!!
41Mine is actually a Swedish magazine called Hus & Hem.
42Tough decision between Domino & Blueprint! I love them both!
43Definatly Real Simple. I've never even heard of Domino...
44I love Mary Engelbreit Magazine
45I usually check Ideal Home Magazine.
46Architectural Digest (that counts right?).
47While I'm subscribed to Blueprint, Domino and MSL and read Dwell and Real Simple when I find them around, the magazine that really has my heart is Romantic Homes. I prefer a more vintage-y style which drives my boyfriend batty!
