In the past I have lived in the mountains (and the delta), and my home in the Bay Area now is a stone's throw away from the mountains. I have the best of both worlds, I think — the benefits of city life immediate to me, and dozens of outdoorsy activities not far from home. How about you?

I grew up in the mountains and my parents still live there.
1I live in the valley surrounded by mountains. We are less than an hours drive from mountains in any direction. I love the mountains!
2Sort of. Our home is among rolling hills.
3I live in "the Hill Country". Does that count?
4I grew up in Denver and now live in a valley within 30 minutes of the mountains. Still in the Rocky Mountain area. I love it here.
So many places to camp, hike, and hot springs!!
5I live in Ontario. There are no mountains anywhere. We have lakes though ... great ones.
