Jakob Dylan, the spitting image son of Bob Dylan and lead singer of The Wallflowers, has found a buyer for his 5,065-square-foot home in Los Angeles' Brentwood area, which has been on the market since last Halloween. The seven-bedroom, eight-bath home, which he purchased for $3.180 million in 2000, was originally listed at $11 million, but has been reduced to just under $9 million. It was built in 1936 and is a stunning example of Spanish style architecture, with a sprawling family room, original tile, original woodwork, and seven unique custom fireplaces. But, of course, Dylan has put his own rockstar spin on it, turning one of its two guest houses (yes, two) into a recording studio. Life is tough. Come along on the full tour.

1ugh, this just shows that in CA, it isn't worth it to buy a home anymore. If you bought it before 2001, then you're have a good investment, after that, it's just unaffordable.
2He's had a couple popular songs and a few cds. I love him and his music!
3I am a fan of Jakob's music (especially his most recent work; love the song "Something Good This Way Comes.") The home is stunning. I love the mix of comfort and luxury. A shame he had to sell such a gorgeous place.
