As an affordable and creative alternative to wallpapering, DIY Ideas used permanent marker to draw moldings, an ornate fireplace grill, candelabras, mirror chain, and a wallpaper-like pattern on the walls. It's not flawless, but its free-hand quality gives it charm. I'm not sure this effect is quite my style, but I think it works in this shabby chic bedroom. What do you think?

ha - it's quite cute but it reminds me of the backdrop for a pantomime when the set is all drawn on
therefore have to vote against. even though hate is a bit of a strong word!
1If you can't add a bit of whimsy to your bedroom... where can you? I applaud them for getting creative and having some fun.
2I like the idea but these drawings in particular arent my style. I apprecite the creativity though, very unique!
3Cute but not for me.
4Shabby chic is so not my style, but this works here. Might be cute for a little girl's room.
5No. It's too cartoonish for my taste.
6I get a nice Eloise vibe from it and would love it in a child's room.
7That's cheesy.
8It's a NO from me.
9Hooray for writing on the walls! Take THAT mom!
10No thanks.
11Not really my taste, but would probably love this in a child's rooom.
