This coming weekend, June 6 and 7, as part of its Celebration Weekend, Sunset magazine will be hosting a flea market of sorts at its Menlo Park, CA, campus. They've cleaned out their prop closet, editor's sample closets, and Idea House furnishings and will sell a large selection of home and garden treasures which have appeared in the magazine to you! Prices will range from $1 to $20, and all proceeds will benefit charity.
While I certainly can't pass up a good deal on home décor, and there will be plenty of awesome finds at this sale, a part of me enjoys the hunt too much to shop straight from my design inspiration. How about you?

wow...To live closer to CA. A friend of mine works for BH&G and they do the same thing in DesMonies IA - but it's not open to the public - employees only...I wish I could steal her ID.
1Years ago when I worked in the Loop (Chicago), Marshall Field's used to have a sale like this every year of props they had used in all their window displays. We got some AMAZING, one-of-a-kind stuff there!

2I wish I still lived in Menlo...
3I wish I had been there for that Domino magazine editors' yard sale in NYC a month or so ago...
