Everyone loves the '86 classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off for its comedic plot and script, but for design fiends, it's a favorite for its real-estate porn. The contemporary home of uptight character Cameron Frye, through which a vintage Ferrari famously plunged into the ravine below, is a 20th-century gem, designed by noted architects James Speyer and David Haid — and it's on the market.
The 5,300-square-foot, 4-bedroom, 4-bath home belonged to successful textile designer Ben Rose, and is listed at $2.3 million. It's composed of two steel and glass buildings, cantilevered over the ravine, giving it incredible views of the surrounding woods. It's definitely an architectural treasure, not to mention a piece of '80s nostalgia! See lots of interior photos when you read more.

1OMGOSH!! I have always loved this house!!!
rmur yes it would be amazing!
2where IS it
3I like the design a lot, but I feel like it would be too cold for me to live in. Still, very cool to explore!
4"When Cameron was in Egypt's land...let my Cameron gooooooooooo!"
5Sorry, that was the very first thought that came to my mind upon seeing this house, LOL...
The house definitely looks cool to explore, but I have to agree with bellasugar in that it looks quite cold...the coziest room looks like the kitchen...gulp!
6if only i had that kind of money just kicking around...
7I agree with Bella - it would be cool to see the house and relive one of the funniest parts of that movie, but I think that would be a creepy house - too many windows! And definitely too cold in the winter!
8I would never actually want to live there.
9It's in Highland Park, Illinois
10The house is ok but looks a bit dated and can do with some renovations.
11That is a great house!
12Neat.
