Patrick Dempsey just put his Holmby Hills digs on the market in March, and he's already found a new McDream pad for his family. The Dempsey clan will soon be moving into a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath New England-style estate in LA, which he purchased for nearly $6.5 million. I wouldn't call this one of my favorite celebrity homes, but it is pretty charming, sophisticated, and understated. Architecturally, I'm loving the wainscoting, crown moldings, and rich, dark oak floors. With its expansive front lawn, large living room, and cozy poolside cabana, it seems like a great place for a family of five. See photos when you read more.

I really like it. What I like most is it's not an over-the-top, in-your-face MANSION like most celebrities have. It's much more down-to-earth and homey.

3i don't like it. it has a few nice features, pool, kitchen, but the areas for entertaining are small and the outside is HIDEOUS.
4Ohhhh....so much laaaaaaaaaaaaawn. YUCK! Lawn is a disgrace, es-PECIALLY in So Cal! So ecologically incorrect! I take the kitchen and that's 'bout it. What is that stairway outside? Does the house start from upstairs and moves its way down???WTF? Is it on a slope? I honestly didn't get the stairs; it looks like two apartments, and the landlord lives downstairs cuz she's got a bad case of arthritis. BTW, Will somebody go and tell Los Angeles mayor that his house is ALSO ecologically incorrect? Darn, he wastes a truckload of H2O every day watering his lawn.....speaking of lawns.
