After selling her West Village condo, and moving in with her parents, Natalie Portman is no longer homeless. The bright-eyed beauty has snatched up a 4,866-square-foot, 4-bedrooms, 2-bath 1930s estate in Los Angeles for $3.25 million — $51,000 over the asking price. The property has had a history of celebrity ownership, including Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener, and DMB saxophonist LeRoi Moore. There was undoubtedly considerable interest in the property if Portman overpaid. But, that comes as no surprise, considering its dazzling features like a private courtyard, rich wood floors, sanctuary-style windows, buttressed ceilings, French doors, over 18,000 square feet of lush landscaping, and a beautiful pool. Maybe it made her feel like she was back in The Other Boleyn Girl.
Eh, it's not really my style, the rooms seem awkwardly big and there's a lot of white. But it has potential, and the outdoor space is awesome.
It's okay...
Yeah, the outdoor part of the property is more impressive to me.
Ha, fleurfairy! Good call.
Not that impressive.. but the outdoors is beautiful
It's a nice home but it's completely different from her West Village condo. That condo was so modern and chic!
seems cold and contrived...
Not a fan.
Compared to what the left in New York, I bet that she will most definitely redecorate everything. From the outside, its beautiful but inside, it just doesn't seem like her style at all.
This has so much potential to be a fairytale home....maybe she's looking for a romantic retreat and not something that's chic.....
I'm not a fan of this home, it looks to blah.
can't believe she overpaid consider she's probably going to have to do a lot of remodeling inside..it's dark, blah and stuff for her. her west village condo was more airy and chic
Why overpay, espcially in this market? Why sooo much space for a single gal? Is she feathering her nest for a large family?
Very nice site!
Very nice site!
Very nice site!
If it makes her happy. It great to find a place you can call home, doesn’t really matter if it’s a few bucks more.
