Taking cues from the natural landscape — in particular, a nearby granite formation — this modern home in Horseshoe Bay, TX, features stone terraces that end at the lake's edge. Vertical concrete blocks and cast concrete are offset by generous windows. Porches and a courtyard marry exterior and interior spaces, while restrained colors and décor highlight the beauty of the home's design.

This is beautiful. Normally I hate lakeside homes because they incorporate all that log cabin stuff, its ok for some but I just don't. My husband and I would like to someday retire in the Lake Tahoe area so seeing different designs for lakeside homes always intrigues me.
1Love this!!
2Wow! It doesn't get any more lakeside than this. It's gorgeous.
3beautiful setting, but i get an industrial factory vibe from the home... aside from the sun-soaked pic above, it doesn't seem comfortable enough for me.
4What a view!
5I like this style. Personally, for me, there's some small, knit-picky issues I have with it, but overall, I like the design.
