Carefully chosen statuary can really add flair to a garden. I love the calm ambiance this statue adds to this landscape. Do you tend to forgo statuary? Or are you a fan?

Of course! I live in an apartment now, but my mom's garden at home has a bronze crane near the water feature, a St. Francis at the base of a tree, and a giant Easter Island moai man. We also have other decorative objects like a little monkey-shaped topiary hanging from a tree, and a smoker/grill that looks like a rocketship and has mosaic tilework on it!
Gotta have something to add interest!
1I love garden statuary and have a few small ones scattered around our yard, and one large angel statue that was an Anniversary gift from my parents.
I LOVE the statue in the picture accompanying the article.
2My mom's little garden has a statue of a dog laying down. It's really cool.
3Statues creep my out. In my neighborhood, homeowners who live on a busy road decided to turn their front yard into a garden of statues, pillars, and arches. In theory, its a great idea, but the homeowners apparently have no taste and now their front yard resembles a cemetary. Passing buy it always gives me the creeps.

5So my husband and I bought our very first home in the Spring and I was so excited to decorate our garden, because I love gardening, and we have never had a garden before. I purchased a couple of beautiful Joseph's Studio garden statues from this website I came across, along with a variety of different plants and flowers, which I got from the nursery nearby and managed to get them in on time. Now our garden looks just beautiful. I plan to go back to the website and buy some more smaller statues. But if you are looking for truly wonderful statues, at a really good price you should visit www.christmascentral.com (where I got mine) They were great.
