Roundup: Painted Stripes

This nursery in the home of J.Crew’s Creative Director Jenna Lyons, which was featured in Domino was painted with sunny yellow stripes on its ceiling. The pattern not only gives a baby something to look at, but it anchors the entire room.

actually, i would have to disagree. I love the brightly stripped ceilings in comparison to the monotonous black and white colored room. i think it brings life and warmth especially because it is the only major color. i also love the simplicity of the room. there really isnt much going on and adding a touch of yellow, really makes this room stand out.
