This open plan dining room is so eclectic, it's almost silly. But I love it! The mish-mash of the Victorian fireplace with the retro table and lime-green chairs, along with the quirky accents like the oversize letters, baby carriage, and glass dome, create the impression that someone really artsy lives here. But, it doesn't have that messy, bipolar look of some artist studios: it's polished. You can see people entertaining here, especially considering the extra chairs stacked in the corner. I could go on, but I thought I'd just help you get the look in your home, if you dig it as much as I do. To see my finds for re-creating this room, read more.

i'm totally digging this room, it really draws me in, thanks casa! i even like the baby carriage,it reminds me of an apartment I had, where me and my roomate had decorated an abandoned shopping cart with ribbons and do-dads and put it in the corner of our living room and used it to store anything from xtra blankets, to mail, to old magazines.
1I love the contrasting fire place!
2I love the look of the room but not too sure about the baby buggy.
3I love this room esp the mirror.
4I agree with Zivanod--I'm all for this room except for the stroller. The dolls creep me out a little. But maybe like a nice little table or a chair or something? All over it.
5P.S. I NEED that dining room table.
