Choose to display your storage if your storage solutions are pretty enough to stand up to scrutiny. Or, simply banish prying eyes and the sight of your storage with a bedskirt.

I actually just removed all of the stuff that I had under my bed. I decided that I didn't like the clutter and anything I had under there, I rarely used anyway. I took everything out from under my bed and put it downstairs in the basement. It's just as accessible and I do think that having a clear underneath bed space makes me room look a bit neater.

2No, thanks. I find that storing items underneath the bed traps a lot of dust bunnies. This triggers my allergies. I do not want to be sneezing and wheezing in my sleep.
