We all know that Stella McCartney is an animal lover, but forgoing leather isn't the only way she shows it. McCartney created an astonishing crystal sculpture in the shape of a horse in 2004 for a fashion exhibit inside the Great Hall of Belsay Castle, an English Heritage castle in the UK, and it has returned for the Easter holiday. "Lucky Spot" was made from thousands of hanging crystals, and is truly a magnificent sight. McCartney was inspired to create it after visiting the medieval castle and its quarry gardens, and it is intended to be a response to George Stubbs's famous equestrian painting, Whistlejacket. If you find yourself on the other side of the pond, you can catch a glimpse of the equestrian masterpiece through Good Friday, April 10, at Belsay Castle.
