You Can Grow in Containers
As one of my gardening heroes,
You Grow Girl, has so verdantly illustrated, just because you don't have a backyard doesn't mean you can't grow a variety of vegetables and herbs. You can use any number of containers for this type of gardening. In fact, this pretty planter is really a white five-gallon bucket wrapped in an old bamboo curtain!

I just distributed my first batch of balcony compost to my pots - kitchen scraps & dirt in an old popcorn tin. It is so lush, deep brown, smells great - and no bugs or pests on the balcony.
