In this photo, from Linday and Kristen Buckingham's home, their son Will's bedroom is decorated with custom bedding, a vintage Union Jack flag, and neat rows of framed artwork.
The artwork, though, isn't from any expensive gallery. Instead, they're pages from a vintage children's book. I've actually done this at my own home, with pages from one of my favorite children's books, Album of Horses. If you're unwilling to tear pages from a favorite book, consider looking for it on eBay. I've found pages from books there for minimal expense. You can also search garage sales or thrift stores for worn-out books whose artwork is still intact.

Sometimes I think about doing an Alice in Wonderland theme (my favorite!) in my future baby's room, and I would definitely like to frame illustrations from the book.
1ooh emalove that would be so lovely!!
I've done this before, also used magazine pictures and calendar pictures.
2I did this in my master bath - I purchased the book Manolo Blahnik Drawings and framed approx. 20 pages using different color mattes with the same frame.
3Interesting idea, I like it!
4I did this with my daughter's room. I copied some of my favorite pictures from my childhood books and some new that I hope she and I will love and become favorites too.
5Looks good! But I don't think I could ever tear out pages from books
6Ooh this is such a nice idea!
7In London I found a shop in the Camden Stables market that had loads of loose pages from old books. Most of them were the old wood-block style prints. I picked up a few for my mother and sister to frame and use as art, but at the time the exchange rate made it too pricey to buy a bunch for myself.
8my husband and I are going to do this with an audobon book we bought used, when we get around to finding frames.
9Neat idea.
