Barbie celebrated her 50th birthday on Monday in a real-life Malibu dream house designed by Jonathan Adler. I showed you Adler's sketch-up earlier this week, but now I've got photos of the real thing. I'm always smitten with Adler's work, and growing up I was a die-hard Barbie fan, so naturally I love this space. The focal point of the room is Barbie's retro, curved sofa. On my recent Room and Board tour, I spotted a similar design, the Reese L-Shaped Sectional with Right-Back Sofa and Curved Corner ($2,499–3,699), which will help you get the look in your digs.

Adler used his own designs for the throw pillows. Take your pick from this selection.

You can find silver Moroccan poufs just like Barbie's at Tazi Designs for $199.

The one-of-a-kind starburst mirror on the far right is made from 64 dolls. But, if you're crafty you can DIY one by adhering your collection of dolls to a round mirror frame yourself.

The small white side table beside the sofa is the Jonathan Adler Preston End Table ($695). The small red chair beside it is the Jonathan Adler Addison Chair ($1,650) in Denmark Poppy.

The Stephen Schubel Stunning 4-Piece Round Sofa ($14,000) is close runner-up to Barbie's fantastic tufted sofa.
