. . . would you set this 1950s Oversized Stone and Cement Chess Set ($10,750) in your garden? Personally, I find it not only entertaining but quite chic — especially if you have a formal garden to go with it!

I LOVE these oversized chess games!!! I've seen them for a while now and would love to have a huge garden to put one in!
Probably not.
I like to play chess (we have a stone chess set from South Korea) but this set doesn't come with all the pieces! What good is playing chess if not all the pieces are there?! It's pretty, but I definitely prefer my South Korean set that is beautiful AND has all the pieces.
i might, they're pretty cute
no
I dig it.
I love it! And it seems to me it's not meant to actually play chess with. Not only does it not have all of the pieces, the pieces that it does have seem like they would be extremely heavy.
I think it's awesome!
It's pretty cool, but it doesn't look like a full chess set. If it isn't, what would be the point?
I would do something similar. If it was a complete set and light enough to actually playwith. I guess the peices would maybe be weighted with sand at the bottom or something?
