According to David Ngo, the designer behind the Jacob's Stool, it is "designed to maximize the user's living space and bring added aesthetics to the room." The stool's legs collapse, and then it can be hung on the wall by its fabric hinges as a piece of art. I think it's an innovative solution for small-space living. What about you?

Not so much...
1I need something like this in my bedroom. Not so much for other places in the house.
2Knowing me, I'd find someway for it to collapse while sitting on it. Collapsible furniture tends to be a danger zone with someone as clumsy and uncoordinated as me. So, while it is pretty, it's definitely a no-go for me.
3v. cool idea and would be perfect in my rowhouse!
4I think the idea is genius... it's the execution I don't love so much. That cushion! I'd like it more it if went with the Jacob's Ladder base, rather than fighting with it - perhaps a cushion covering made out if woven side pieces?
5awesome concept - i'm forever needing extra seating for spur of the moment gatherings but don't care to keep it all out when the company is gone. would like ability to customize fabric and wood stain.
6i like the top part of it, the fabric is cute but i wouldnt buy it
7Not a fan.
