Short on confetti for your New Year's Eve party? Don't toss that holiday wrapping paper! Cut each sheet into a few small squares and send them through a paper shredder, and then send the shredded pieces through once more if necessary. Not only will you have festive confetti, but you can re-purpose your wrapping paper! Don't have a paper shredder? Try these shredding scissors. And of course, once the party's over, don't forget to vacuum thoroughly!

I used to make my own confetti every year as a kid. Of course, there were no fancy shredding scissors or paper shredder- it was just good, old-fashioned construction paper and kid scissors. Looking back, I'm glad my mom humored me and let me do it- I know she hated cleaning it up!
1Glad I'm not the only one!
2I used to make confetti out of all kinds of paper with a puncher as a kid. It was always fun (not!) to find leftovers behind couches and cupboards in summer, months and months after New Year!
3The proficiency of my work has increased due to Modern designs which blend into any office environment. All models of shredders accept stapled documents.
