House Hunting For Oprah
I think Oprah might take a liking to the
five-bedroom, nine-bath, Halcyon House ($30 million), a historic property built in 1787 by Benjamin Stoddert, first secretary of the US Navy and close confidant of George Washington. If the house suited a presidential pal in the past, I'm sure it can do the same for Oprah. The 30,500-square-foot property recently went under a 17-year renovation, and features five rental apartments, a separate townhouse, and vast entertaining spaces for those parties Oprah likes to throw.
