Maybe your digs aren't as expansive as that of French president's wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, who hosted the traditional Christmas party at the Elysee Palace yesterday, but that doesn't mean you can't throw a righteous holiday party yourself! Have you entertained this holiday season?

I haven't yet, but this year will be the first time I'm hosting New Year's Eve at my house! So excited!!
1Christmas Eve dinner for the family & friends at my house.
Then a barbeque the day before New Year's.
2I always throw a New Year's Eve party, but this year we had a holiday one instead--with a catch. It was a Murder Mystery party set in a high-class hotel in the middle of winter in the Rockies during prohibition, and we all had characters we had to play to figure out whodunnit! It was sooo fun.
3No
I'm sad about it too. But the house is totally under construction. Next year I definitely
will!
4We were going to, but decided to move it to mid-January, when things are typically depressive after the hoopla is over. We're thinking of it as a mid-winter blah-buster party!
5Yes, I had a fondue party. It was fun!
6we moved hours away from all our family and friends, so no party this year. But I threw one last year and it really stressed me out! I don't like playing hostess!
7We are hosting our annual party this weekend.
8had a christmas party last weekend, and we'll be hosting dinner on new years eve and new years day..
9I haven't thrown a holiday party in years, but I'll be hosting a New Year's party this year.
10We hosted our Christmas family reunion party this year in our new house. I was so stressed about getting the house ready that my hair has been falling out in handfuls for the last month
It was last weekend and it was a real success. I'm having a smaller holiday get together for
my closest friends this weekend but I'm not stressed, just excited and looking forward to some fun!
11No, but I'm going to two parties this weekend!
12It wasn't quite a holiday party, but ... we're in the middle of moving, so last week we had a pre-move party in the new (still empty) house. Best party I've ever had - we brought some chairs and food and showed off the house to friends. It's going to take us a LONG time to get settled in, but once we do, we want to entertain more. So this was a good way to kick off our homeownership.
13Nope.
14Its smaller this year, but we're doing a sit-down dinner instead of a cocktail party. I just love celebrating with friends!
15We host a Festivus party every 12/23. We air grievances and display our feats of strength, plus we incorporate an ugly holiday wear contest. It is very fun.
16I always have so many Holiday parties to go to the last thing I would want to do is throw my own! But, I usually throw a New Years party, which makes up for it
17No, we always go to a party though. We don't know enough people or socialize enough to throw a party. I do, however, have parties for our little family of 6 for every holiday
