If it were up to me, my home would be a melting pot of many architectural styles (though that might look a little wacky). As part of our Best of 2008 polls, I want to know what type of house you would most like to live in.

Of the choices, I chose bungalow, but I really like art deco/modern.
BTW, I can't stand Tudor and I wish it would stop spreading. It's hard to pull off beautifully so instead all of these homes just have brown wood stapled to the outside.
1The house I grew up in is Tudor Revival built in the early 1900's. So I'm always partial to that style.
2I also love Colonial. It reminds me of the beautiful houses in Williamsburg, VA and New England that were actually built during the Colonial Era.
3I like Bungalow. To me, it is more inviting and warm. Very homey and cozy. It was always the kind of house I wanted when I was younger.
4We're moving to a bungalow!
5The bungalow is just more "me". I loathe neo-mediterranean. It's all over southern California. Yuck.
6I'm a huge fan of the NeoClassical:)
7Neo-med: ugh.
I chose Bungalow but it's actually a tie between Bungalow and Spanish Mission. I'm from southern Cali and love anything that reminds me of home!
8I love the Spanish Mission because it reminds me of home too! But, I would love to have a federal style house, especially for the holidays! I can just picture it all decorated!
9I chose Bungalow. I love mid century modern and Victorian as well. I also hate Neo-Med! So ugly! There's a lot of that in Texas too.
10I love Bungalow with Neo-Mediterranean being a close second.
11I chose Neo-Classical, but I love Bungalow, Creole, Federal, and Colonial Revival, as well. I don't care for any of the others.
(I'm completely with you on Tudor, Amber.)
12I love all of these styles if they're done correctly, but I'm honestly sick of the neo-Mediterranean style because it's so commonly done (and done poorly) in my city. I chose Federal style architecture because something about it just seems so classically American, and because a lot of beautiful houses in the old South follow this style.
13I love Tudors. They don't make homes with that much attention to detail and the style.
14I think anymore built after the 1930's is probably a little like wonder bread. Not bad, but blah.
I love an authentic Craftsman. I close second is a Victorian.
15Midcentury modern, bungalow and neoclassical depending on where the house is.
16Neo classical and bungalow are my favs!
17I'm traditionally a neoclassical girl, but I'm developing a love for craftsman homes. Love their big covered porches.
18Bungalow and Seattle style (yes, it is an actual style).
19I love what you call "Tudor revival", the style of the area around Strasbourg looks a lot like that and I just love the look of these buildings.
