Some families head out to the tree farm or the neighborhood tree lot the day after Thanksgiving. We usually wait for the first weekend of December to find our perfect tannenbaum. Have you, like 30 Rock's Tracy Jordan, found your tree and decked it out yet? Or are you still biding your time? Photo courtesy of NBC

I ordered my tree from Williams Sonoma this year and it should be delivered tomorrow.....I will be decorating this weekend:)
Hubby and I go the day after thanksgiving every year! We go home and decorate the tree and the rest of the house immediately. It gets us in the spirit.
I'll be getting my tree tomorrow. I wish I had it last weekend, though, since we usually decorate the day after thanksgiving.
no we haven't even gotten our tree yet. but most likely by this weekend we'll get started.
I used the same fake tree every year lol...and I'm finished. Everything really. Decorated everything and finished shopping. Grocery shopped for the month and special dinners today. Now, just listen to Christmas music, watch Christmas movies/shows and drink eggnog!! Yes we love it!
*use
Our tree is up. It's prelit so that was easy, but the ornaments are going on this Saturday.
All 3 of our trees are up and decorated and lit etc. We do it the weekend of Thanksgiving every year. I love plugging the lighs in every morning when I wake up and seeing the trees all over the house all day
yes!!! we did it a few days ago
I going to put it up this weekend sometime
We plan on getting our Christmas tree this weekend. We have a family tradition every year during this time, where my Husband and I take our Grandchildren (who now range from 8 to 14 years old) to the local Christmas tree farm. It's an outing they look forward to, that we've done since they were very little. There's tractor drawn wagons decorated with hay bales, wreaths, etc that we ride on, that takes us to the different sized trees. The kids pick out the Christmas tree they want, we all get a turn (with the supervision of my Husband) at sawing the tree trunk with a bow-saw that's provided by the tree farm. It's then loaded on the wagon, and we're driven to the barn were the owners have hot apple cider, hot chocolate, and bags of marshmallows and hot dogs to roast on an open fire. After we get the tree home, we all decorate it together. It's so much fun watching the excitement of the Grand-kids as they chose the 'perfect' tree each year, as I take photos of it all. Precious memories.
In my apartment I put my tree up Nov 1!! I cannot wait any longer..I ignore Halloween but don't want to seem too much like a freak with my tree up that night. My family just put their tree up today.
I've had mine up for almost two weeks now! I love the Christmas season!
Mine's up .. waiting for hubby to come home to decorate it this weekend after work. It's a tradition of ours.
I won't put up a tree, but I will decorate
It's just me, so not a big deal. Usually
I go over to my sister's place to decorate her trees.
We're hosting our annual Christmas party tomorrow night so our tree and decorations went up last weekend. Normally we have the party later in the month, but a friend from out of town is visiting this weekend and he requested that we have the party while he was here, and we gladly obliged.
um, atheists don't have christmas trees...
Putting up my tree is on the agenda for this weekend. I have a huge artificial one that is a pain to put together. Once it up though, it is beautiful. Keeping two cats out of it is always fun too.
I've had mine up for quite sometime now!!!
Canadian Thanksgiving it WAY before the American one so naturally we have Christmas pushed on us MUCH quicker!
We have to move a bunch of stuff so we can put the tree up, and I have been asking the boyfriend since thanksgiving to help me, and he still hasn't, so who knows? We waited until the day before Christmas eve last year, so hopefully we have it up sooner than that!
This weekend, maybe. Maybe next. I don't wait until the last minute, but I do like to let it get a little closer to Christmas.
I like to wait until a little closer to Christmas. I'm sort of a traditionalist - keep Christmas in the latter half of the month.
The tree always goes up on December 6, St. Nicholas Day.
I always put my tree up while watching th Toronto Santa Claus Parade which is about a week before American Thanksgiving.
VSugar is that a joke?? I totally get a Christmas tree every year, and give Christmas presents, etc.!! I know it's a religious holiday, but I think lots of non-religious people join in the fun.
Anyway, we get a fresh tree every year and will be getting ours this weekend --- a frasier fir. Can't wait!
I try to do it during my Thanksgiving break and then we take it down New Years Eve
Went up the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Granted, in our little 1-bd apartment, that meant a 4 foot tree in a terra cotta pot. So it didn't exactly take more than a day to get all the decorations up. And I'm excited that we get to plant our little tree after the holidays! Now we just need to find the right spot...
Have yet to get a tree .... looking for a good-looking small plastic one, seeing as we have so much furniture now there is no place for a tree! Sad. Christmas trees always make me happy.
