I love the rugged, unfinished quality of an exposed brick wall (and I don't mean just around a fireplace). It offers a casual vibe to a room that, as beautiful as they may be, crown moldings and wainscoting just can't give you. An exposed brick wall also makes your accessories (candlesticks, vases) look all the more glamorous in comparison! And hey, Eli Stone looks pretty good in front of one, doesn't he?

No, but I would love one!
1I don't, but I wouldn't mind one.
2I always wanted a brick wall.
3I had one in the last two houses I lived in. Sadly we don't have one anymore. I really loved the look.
4I wish they add so much to a home, unless it's in a dark and creepy basement.
5I'm really not into exposed brick. I feel like it really limits what you can do with a room. I suppose I'm just not creative enough.
6No but I wish I did, I love it!
7I would love one! Hopefully my next place will be an old Victorian row house with one.
8just like everyone else, I definitely wish I had one. They make a place so much more interesting! Not to mention, you save a little on paint =)
9I recently stayed in a hotel in New Orleans where our room had an exposed brick wall, leading me to declare: All I want when I grow up is an exposed brick wall. I love them.
10We exposed the 100 year old brick in our kitchen and MAY do the same in the living room. It's risky though because you don't know what shape the brick is in when you expose it! ... and it can get REALLY pricy to repoint (rw?) brick (I should know... we redid some of the brick work on the front of our rowhouse).
Baltimore city is about three things:
1. exposed brick interiors
2. stainless steel appliances
3. rooftop decks
11No but I want one (or several)!!!!! When I move to Brooklyn that is my goal!
12YES I love living in an old building
13I've actually priced brick veneer, I want an exposed brick wall so badly. Perhaps one day I'll find that dream loft space.
14I finally landed my first New York apt with exposed brick! Bursting with happiness!
