7I'm addicted to palm trees and pink flamingos, tacky or not. While I would not put these things on my lawn or necessarily in my home as a regular living room adornment - I can appreciate them and would use them for a party.
8I see enough palm trees when I look out the window. I need something to remind me of the evergreen state. Perhaps an evergreen tree?
