“This room was kind of my baby. I designed the table. The chandelier was a simple chicken wire cage, with hot-glued paper plates. The painting was just paint dripped on a canvas. It looked like it cost a lot more than it did—apart from the chairs, which were made from inlaid bone and a totally different story. I would say you could do this room with $200.”
