When I was swinging through the San Francisco Anthropologie store recently, I was stopped in my tracks by these metal pendant lamps.
We all know that objects make a bigger impression when they're arranged in multiples (and three is really a magic number when it comes to arranging), but the multiple lamps weren't what wowed me. It's the impressive embroidery on the metal shades! I'm not sure how they punctured the holes into these — perhaps with a tiny drill bit — but the overall effect is stunning and unexpected.

I love the way the light shines through the holes in the lamp. Are you a fan?

HUGE fan!!! I'd like to think I could make it, but the truth is I would never get to. I wonder if they're for sale.
1i fell in love with this instantly!!!
2wow! love it.
3Not a fan!
4I think it looks great but with the yard so close to the heat-generating bulb, isn't that a fire hazard?
5psterling- they may use CFLs (or those LED bulbs Danny Seo had on his blog)
6I couldn't find these for sale online, and unfortunately I was too impressed with them to look for a price tag in-store. And I agree, if you use CFLs or LEDs this would not be a fire issue. Another great reason to use energy efficient bulbs (hint hint).
7I don't think you'd have a fire issue even with regular bulbs. Many shades are fabric or even paper, and they don't catch on fire.
8Very Cool!
