Coveted Crib: Andy's Artful Home (Part One)

Artist Andrew Phares doesn't leave his creativity in the studio. On the contrary: His eye for design, unique antiques, and tongue-in-cheek vintage signage and toys is evident throughout his Bay Area home. There's so much to take in, in fact, that I've decided to break this slideshow up into several separate posts! Here, I'll show you Andy's entry, living, and dining rooms. OMG. I love the color scheme (quirky but still warm), I love the collections (I need that Hitchcock crow!), and I just think this is an all-around lovely place. Wow.

Giggle, I have a crow just like that on my mantel, and a raven on a pedestal that sits on my newel post. Look for them around Halloween; I always find interesting crows, ravens, and bats that mix year round with my decor!
