A friend of mine has the Neiman Marcus Mirrored Vanity ($899) and I love its flip-up center storage compartment, but I've been feeling lately that mirrored furniture is heading for the "out" bin. So, I was delighted to come across the Leah Desk ($469) in champagne at Pottery Barn. The desk also has a center section that lifts to reveal a beveled mirror and a faux drawer front that folds down to store accessories. Whether you're using the desk to do work, surf the web, or get all gussied up, it has a has a power strip that provides a central place to plug in your Macbook or your straightener. Aside from the technical features, I'm loving its glam champagne turned-wood legs and unexpected red painted interior finish. What do you think?

I have been eyeing this desk since it came out - I love it! I especially like the legs w/ their metallic sheen. My only problem is I would use it as a desk, and I would find it distracting to stare into a mirror while I am typing away at my laptop.

5This one is definitely on the short list of my new desk options. I plan on just getting a pretty piece of fabric to drape over the mirror when I am working on my computer and then just tuck it inside when I close it up.
6Hanako66, the only thing I'd remind you of is that desk won't be in Pottery Barn's catalog forever, but the Louis Ghost has been around for years and will continue to be. You might want to keep that in mind when you hand over your wish list.

8LOVE this! I might be tempted to paint it black though... the colour wouldn't match my bedroom at all.
9I wanted to point out that it also comes in a white version, with a pretty cobalt blue inside. It's on sale right now too, only $299! (So if you were just going to paint it you might want the cheaper option

12o yes, I have a white one just like this. Only thing is, the bottom part does not fold down. It inspires me to also diy, and to also paint the inside red!
13Oh my gosh, this desk is amazing! And actually really great for small spaces since it's not too bulky and has multiple uses. I love it!
