Just in case you're not interested in going as Jonathan Adler or Simon Doonan this Halloween, I'm also providing you with a more feminine option: Kelly Wearstler.
If you're a Top Design fan, as I am, you probably watch the show in part to check out Kelly Wearstler's kooky sartorial style. I adore her mix of high fashion with vintage finds and her daringly odd clothing combinations. Here, I've recreated Kelly's look from the Window Display episode. If you decide to go as Kelly this Halloween, make sure to do something awesome to your hair (crimping, beehives, and ratting are all acceptable). Rambling to fellow Halloween revelers about your design style is a given, of course. I'd also recommend, for verisimilitude, lugging around a design portfolio with photos of "your" interior designs.

This looks relatively normal compared to some stuff I've seen her wearing. She's a beautiful woman and I think some of her outfits take away from that.

2I always find it odd when someone who dresses in a certain flamboyant style or the same repetitive style (Project Runway's Michael Kors, black t-shirt and jacket) can critique other people's taste.
3When I see her hair every week, I just want to pat it and tell it I'm sorry. And maybe leave some conditioner
4i dont mind Michael Kors always wearing a black tshirt & critiquing designers, but this woman is insane. her outfits are always ridiculous, it's almost like she dresses like she's homeless & found these clothes in the dumpster.
