If you have a partner or children, your laundry tends to pile up quickly! Efficiency experts recommend that families with lots of laundry get in the habit of doing two loads of laundry each day; one load can be popped in before work in the morning, and another in the evening. While I'm glad I don't have to do that much laundry, I estimate that we run five loads a week. What about you? Source

I do laundry once a week about 5 loads.
1If I don't do laundry every day, then I do it twice a week and it works out to be between 10 and 15 loads a week but we're a family of 6 so I don't think that's too bad considering.
2I live by myself and have a tendency to cycle through all my clothes before I decide I want to start going up and down 3 flights of stairs in my building in order to wash them. So, I would say 4 loads every 2 weeks.
3We're a family of three and we do about 2-3 big loads a week. I prefer to run the washer when I can do a full load rather than doing lots of small loads -- in my brain it saves water (though I have no idea if this is true!)
42-3 loads a week for both my husband and I.
5between my boyfriend and i, we do about 4 medium sized loads per week (1 is sheets and pillow cases, 1 is towels, 1 is dark clothes, and 1 is light clothes).
6thankfully since it's just the two of us we only have, on average, three large loads of laundry a week.
7For hubby and I, I'd guess about 3 loads a week - whites, darks, and sheets.
8Wow! I can't imagine doing 15 loads of laundry a week; I would never have time to do anything else! I do 2-3 a week between my fiance and myself.
9Since I don't have washer and dryer in my apartment (and I'm extremely jealous of those who do) we only do our laundry once every two weeks...and that's a whole lotta laundry! It's pretty much a nightmare to have to do that much laundry all at once but I've gotten used to it.
10i only have my own clothes to wash. So that's 2 loads every 3 weeks.
11Wow, people sure do a lot of laundry!
I have a tendency to re-wear many clothes items, especially when it comes to pants/skirts and bras, and I am fortunate (or cursed?) to have lots of clothes, so I don't do laundry nearly as often as other people. I also rarely change my sheets (maybe every 3 months if I'm good). Basically do laundry when I run out of underwear.
Maybe 2-3 loads every month? Sorry if I'm grossing out people.
12i'm the same way hihowareya! i also live in an apartment with no laundry unit, so it's always quite an undertaking to get quarters for the machines.
13I do laundry every two weeks and do two loads, sometimes three. It's just me though.
14about 4 loads a week. one load clothes, one load hubby's work clothes, one load towels and one load sheets. sometimes could be more and could be less.
15I'm really bad. I buy enough clothes for at least two weeks, but I try to keep our things clean. There's 5 of us, plus a dog (who yes has laundry) and I normally do a load a day. I also bathe the kids before bed, and do their sheets every week or two (depending on the season) Iwash our sheets weekly, the dogs bed weekly and I make them re-use clean towels. I try to be efficient
163-4 loads every 2 weeks for me and the bf. 1 load of whites...1 load of colors..and 1-2 loads of darks! Our washer hold large loads!
17explain your dog's laundry please?? i am intrigued/confused. lol
18"I also rarely change my sheets (maybe every 3 months if I'm good)."
Is this just because you are completely ignorant of how actually disgusting it is?
19I live alone, so I tend to do 3 loads every couple of weeks or so.
20I do around 10 Loads of laundry. I have a huge closet of clothes but my son and husband go through theirs like they only have a couple of pieces.
Also my son is potty training so I try to do a load a day to avoid the smell of "accidents".
Sheets, I have 4 sets for each bed in our house so I can change them weekly but don't have to do as many loads. 2 weeks is as long as I go without changing them. I don't think I could handle anything longer.
21My husband and I do 2 loads per week on average. One light, one dark, and then every 3 weeks we wash our sheets, and the towels that pile up. I couldn't imagine doing all that laundry for just 2 people...
