Having open bathroom storage demands that you keep things neat, or are comfortable with mess, and have no embarrassing prescriptions out in the open — that is, if you're expecting guests. The spacesaver over my toilet is all open storage, but my medicine cabinet and vanity have doors.
1I have a mix. I don't like how my bathroom is right now but I also don't feel like spending money on it. So I just do with it.
2I have a medicine cabinet and under-the-sink storage that are both closed. The top half of the cabinet above the commode is closed, but the bottom half is open.
3I have open shelving for my perfumes. Most of my things are kept hidden...
