Country singin' couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have put their sprawling 10,500-square-foot, six-bedroom, five-bath Beverly Hills mansion on the market for a measly $14.8 million, according to Real Estalker.
The property description reads:
Mediterranean estate w/ grand views & privacy in prestigious Beverly Park South. Situated on over 4 acres the estate offers sweeping panoramic views. Grand two story entry features limestone floors, large skylight & wrap around staircase. This home is highlighted by a spacious and elegant master suite w/ his & her baths connecting to a state of the art gym. Gourmet kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances, large open formal dining room w/ step down living room. Manicured gardens w/ luxurious pool.
I'm really loving the exterior, and the structure itself, and "sweeping panoramic views" sound pretty fab to me. But, I'm not too keen on some of their nouveau riche décor choices (faux wall treatments, so much beige). I'm sure all of their furnishings are high quality, but the interior doesn't seem to have much flavor, flow, or any cohesive style . . . a shabby chic pink dining room and then an Art Deco brick red sitting room? I don't know about that. Tell me what you think of the photos when you read more.

its nice but some of the colors aint right but its real nice
1Ummmmmm yeah........Can't say I like the dress the table's wearing either !!!
2I don't think that folks of these means are able to even relate to we everyday "joes". They seem so out of touch with reality and the day to day problems of real people. Take some of the $14.8 million that you get for the sale of your home and help thousand's of out of work reagular folks buy their groceries or pay for a medical bill!! What celebrities receive in compensation for what they do is absolutely outrageous. Share the wealth with the regular working folks who are losing their jobs and homes.
3You know honestly the pics of their home show a mansion type home with a modestly decorated style like someone only spends limited time there...as for the colors they should (yes) paint it all neutral tones to attract buyers however a buyer will indelibly paint and decorate to their own style regardless of the colors in the home..I sold my home recently and the RE Agent told me to paint it all neutral (beiges) and I did. Most who came in and viewed the home said they wanted to see some sort of color even if it was a different color per room...the prob is no one can please everyone...but yes the pink dining room ??? Gimme a break that's weird but the rest is like anyone else with a desire for differential colors in their home would do but that dining room is just plain weird...but it would most def. not turn me off because bottom line...I can paint and decorate ANY home I want to my tastes..the weirdness for me is that through the pics the home does not look lived in...Huge rooms with small amounts of decoration or furniture make the room look like its sprawling and through like I said the pics it makes the home look vacant or not a priority home...it looks like an investment only...
4KNOW ABOUT THE MANSION, it is beautiful. Some of the furniture is too light in color for my taste. What is being called the pink dining room looks like a sun porch of something because it is much to small for a dining room in a mansion like that. If it is the dining room, I wouldn't have picked pink, it's not classy enough for the home. I like the sitting room, it just needs a home theater.
5Just because you can't afford to buy it don't be so rude!! Tim & Faith are beautiful down to earth people.. they didn't get where they are by sitting on thier asses!! They are great people and they do a lot for many different charities and organizations. I look at it this way.. if you don't like the house then you buy it and paint it.. nobody here is passing judgement on your home!
6I'm with Homerlucy!! = )
Oh.. I wouldn't be suprised if they did have a theater and a recording studio in there.. probably more pics we aren't seeing.. like where Tim sleeps at night.. now that is what I would like to see!!.. LOL... = )
7No one complaining because they've the house
When people have to much money , they lose
respect for money . We need more celebrities
helping others .
Cowell from American Idol , he was a good sport
he helped a family and paid there mortgage off.
I thought that was nice of him .
I know people who's not rich and guess what they
help people weekly in more ways than one .
Anyways this house is fine outside , but instead it
8could stand ,paint and much more . Seriously you would
thought they would remodel this house with all that
money they've. I'll grade it ....."C"......
Calvin.....I agree ,,,,you sound like a hard worker .
I know many hardworkers who takes pride and devoted
9to there jobs . The true fact is many celebs forget
what they've , end up losing respect for money and
everyone around them . Money is a tool , and it depends
on what you do with it .
I think i could find something else to spend 14 mil on.The home is okay, would have never thought it would be their choice.colors are boring, looks like show place, not a comfy home. Its great if people can help others, but share the wealth NO.If i work for mine as I do,I am not going to give it to someone who sits on their butt with their hand out.Two completely different things.
10It really isn't up to anybody else, but them. As long as they've liked it. Its just too bad they're gone alot. They've certainly earned it. Doesn't seem to have been too kid friendly..But we haven't seen all of the rooms in the mansion. I just hope the ring grabbing, and the crotch-grabbing twits and the rough-neck wanna-be that hit the woman in the face..See these pictures and eats their hearts out.. Tim and Faith deserve better fans than that.
11This is just plain BORING!! Bring in HGTV to put some "pop" into it. For the price, and the market the way it is...it's definately going to need some inside pizzaz.
12Seriously, the only reason I'm commenting is HOW PETTY OF YAHOO to put this in "news events."
Who cares if the man didn't like the red dining room... if you are a multi-millionaire able to afford the purchase, you would simply have an interior decorator remodel it.
Considering the status of the global economy, the US economy, and the up coming presidential election, this stuff if very petty.
13Very Bright.......
I hope Tim was just trying to keep Faith happy,
agreeing with these colours, Little Fruity...
This might be a nice house for Ellen D....
14You don't have to like the house unless you are buying it. Everyone has their own view of how they want their house to look. If you want what they have get off your butt and work for it like they did. You don't get things in life handed to you, stop sitting around doing nothing, go out and earn what you want.
15The mansion is nice but does not look "homey". Tim and Faith strike me as country folk in their personalities and from the many interviews I have seen. As for "the pink room" it is a breakfast/informal eating area ie like a breakfast nook. I have not seen their financial records and I am sure none of you have either for that matter. So you cannot say what they do with their money. We work hard for our money and have taken care of family and other people for years...can you say that? If you don't like the way people in the public eye live, such as entertainers, don't buy tickets to thier shows. But, you might keep in mind that those people actually provide jobs to the band members, roadies, all of the venues where they perform. I am sure I needn't go on.
Let them enjoy selling the home. For all you know they may be buying some 4 bdrm "home" in some back water town and pouring their money into the local community.
16you know GOD GAVE THEM THIS HOUSE TO ENJOY WITH THEIR KIDS AND FILL IT WITH LOVE. that is what im sure they do.colors are beauty and different in the eyes of all.I think its beautiful inside and out cause its no doubt that it is filled with love and the pictures that we see i belive are just pictures we see. I love them and they are great people.......GOD BLESS, and thank GOD that we all have our own opions.
17Come on people...it's not the ugliest house I've seen. It's all cosmetic...and everyone's taste is different...not always GOOD or BAD. I think the pink "dinning room" is cute... however, the REAL dinning room is photo 6. The kitchen is amazing, Wow, the pool, great place to have a BBQ outside. After all, this is their second, third, or whatever number home. They are a great couple, and seem very friendly.
It's pretty amazing all the negative comments and bashing going on. Rich people have stuff...so, I deserve it too, so give it to me attitude is crap. I'm not rich by any means, well, not at all, but we all live in the same wonderful country that has no limits on how much you can make. We make choices, life happens and sometimes a bit of luck effects our economic situation. But if you don't like it, change it!
18alanshea its not their job to give their money that THEY rightfully earned. you're just a jealous person who jealous of what they WORKED for. its their right to spend their money the way they see fit. how in the heck do you know they don't give money to the those types of charities. you dont. people like who thing people should be given hand outs make me sick.
19ummm...as for them not having alot of personal things in the home...maybe they took alot of it out..i know when we were trying to sell our home they wanted alot of personal things out of it to make it not look so full...scale it down..so people looking at it could see their things in it..and as far as the whole money think goes..ya know why should the rich people have to give their money that THEY worked for. I get so sick of people wanting free handouts instead of goin out and getting a job and make a living of their own and not off others...too many lazy people anymore...
20and just food for thought...neither one of those two were born with a silver spoon in their mouth...neither one came from wealthy families..but instead hard working...blue collar workers...Faith i do believe was adopted and Tim was raised by a single mother..so they know all about the "common Joe"
21I think its a beautiful home.I would love to have a tour myself. I just cant imagine a home selling for that much.Of course i dont live over there and never been there.
22Did anyone else notice the odd shape of the pool??? It kind of looks like something
23I think that they are blessed and pray that they have a relationship with the Lord, after all as long as your content in your heart with Jesus, that's what matters. The house is beautiful, and if they were blessed to buy it, praise God. You can't take any of this stuff with you when you pass away anyway.
Bless you both, and all of you out there.
JESUS LOVES YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
24ok first of all look at it this way me raising three children, and hardly getting getting around on my income, and i live in a apartment , and tell me something none of you make thwe money they do, and one thing in my shoes is I take what I can, and another thing that house is a temp thing while they were filming, i have to agree with the person that said i wouldn't fill a temp house with memory. I wait to either get back to my orignial house or when I get a house to fill it with memory's. One thing i learn in this messed up economy is we take what we can and we grab what we earn, and can't be selfish, and it is childish to slam there house when they earned it, and we wouldn't want people slamming what we earned, it's not easy to get a house, ans even harder to keep it, and sorry these singers, and actors, and actresses go through hell to get there money just like a factory person,i'M SORRY BUT i FEEL WORST FOR STAY AT HOME MOM'S, AND FACTORY WORKERS,because they are on there feet all the time, all I'm sayin is don't slam people for what they have and what they earn, because we would kill to have a place like that, and everyone style is different, but face it it's a temp place.
25It just does not fit with Tim and Faith.
26Nothing matches in this house and with so many little kids you'd ditch the dressy dinning room. Nobody has lived there in forever. Whenever l see "MTV My Crib" of some rich as punk rap wanna be who has kids..it's never made worth for kids. All nicely tucked away like nobody lives there. So steril. Makes me wonder who lets their kids really be kids.
I think their home is beautiful. I can't believe the people with their negative comments. Like, they should give their money to help others. Question is to those people, what have you done to help anyone? So what if they are rich. We all have the opportunity to be wealthy. Tim and Faith are wonderful people. God Bless them.
27Its very pretty on the outside, but i cant say I see a lot of personality in the decor, rather lifeless, and that deco? room, yikes!I dont know why,but I saw faith as a french country and english country house kind of lady, warm and beautiful and inviting, like she is!It does look uninhabited, but Im sure its one of a few they have, maybe the others are better!
28hey alanshea.....loved your comment. hate rich people for having stuff that you don't because they earned it. we should take their money and re-distribute it to the poor. but you know what, that's been tried before by people like karl marx...it's called socialism and it doesn't work. sounds like someone running for president.
29you know i love the home would like to see it some day i heard they now have opras house in indiana does any body know
30yuk!
31Isn't it amazing how most rich people have absolutely NO style. That home is awful.
32Beautiful house, I agree the decor is lacking...love Tim and Faith though.
33Who cares what it looks like now. I'm sure who ever buys it will change the dacor to their liking. None of us will be buying it. I doubt that they have spent that much time in L A. Aren't they mostly in Nashville? It's the economy.
34I forgot what I was going to say stunned by all the 'new' faceless member comments... that's different.
35Oh. Even if I had the money, which I never will, I wouldn't live in California period. $14mil in the south buys a small town with a farmer's market and no smog.
36Saying that the couple should divide their wealth they worked for is insulting, in my opinion. I mean, this couple worked for their money, they just happened to be much richer than..most people.
I'm not rich (at all!) but I'm not going to walk up to some guy down the street living in a big house owning 2 mercedes benz or more, and demands that he helps pay for my car, my phone bills, or pay for downpayment of a house I want to buy. That guy may be a jerk but he sure worked to get to where he is (or he's lucky), and it's not my place to put out my hand and expect a handout.
If I want to be in his position, then I'd better do something different or hope for winning the lottery, eh?
Back to the house, wow, that's one expensive house, and I don't agree with their decor. The only reason I clicked on this post is because my niece is CRAZY about Tim McGraw (she can't stop squealing and giggling every time his name is mentioned) and she's going to be seeing him in concert soon LOL.
37People will be people. Most everyone with a comment is forgetting. We The Fans are the ones that have made them the rich people they are. But as some one else said, They have not all ways been rich and They have not forgot that. They do give back to their community and they love it. So lets not forget we are the ones that made them the people they are today. As far as the house IT IS THEIRS to do with what they like and what they want. More power to them.
38Ewe...
39boring. little style, and the entry way screams tacky.
