Want a quick, free tip for staying warm in your home? Put on socks. I know, it sounds ridiculously simple, but by keeping your feet warm, you'll help to warm up your entire body. Layering clothing, such as by wearing a wool sweater over your t-shirt, will also help you to keep your body temperature up, and your thermostat down — a great way to save money on home heating oil this Fall and Winter.

It's starting to get chilly in Ohio, but we're not turning on the heat yet in an attempt to save some money. I'm sporting the layered look today, including my CasaSugar hoodie!
I love wearing big comfy socks around the apt. I'm so glad fall is starting to come into the bay area.
I'm going sock hunting tomorrow!! The frost has already started here!
You're SO right! I've been chilly in my apartment all day. I'm going to get some socks right now.

I wore my heavy duty hiking socks around my apartment all weekend! I'm trying to save on heat, so I wore socks, a sweatshirt and heated up a flax pack which I kept close whenever I sat down to keep me warm. It's official Fall is here up here in New England... brrr.
