Whenever there's a scene in Mad Men involving the Drapers' bedroom, my eyes are always drawn to their tufted velvet headboard. Its color, texture, and tufting are over-the-top feminine, and reflect nothing of Don's removed masculinity. But maybe that's the point of this headboard — to reflect how removed Don Draper is from his home and its contents and inhabitants.

I would love to have this in my room!
I love it. My great Aunt has a headboard like this is her guestroom. It's pretty fabulous...and comfortable
I've loved that headboard from ep 1. My friend and i were watching the show and both commented on it at the same time. Tho, I could do without the bed spread.
I really like. I always read before going to bed and this headboard would make it extra comfy.
iHeart this headboard. It reminds me of a guest room in my parents' home... and the hours I used to play in there, lining up my stuffed animals to play "school."
I look forward to seeing it in every episode!
reminds me of my grandma's guest room. Not a huge fan.
insightful analysis though Casa!
I love that headboard! My eyes are always drawn to it as well.
The headboard is nice, but I hate the bedspread. It reminds me of a disgusting hotel bedspread. Everytime I see it I cringe.
I agree with the comment about the beadspread. Not a fan, reminds me of one of thoes old dingy ones in a hotel room that are scratchy and filled with yuck. The headboard on the other hand is pretty neat. I am almost inspired to make one
Nope, I don't like it.
With the right furniture, it would be
Love it!
Urban Outfitters has some awesome velvet tufted headboards. I bought this one and totally love it!
