Growing up, I always dreaded the end of Summer, especially since our Winters often lasted for at least half of the year! However, I do adore Autumn, even if its arrival means bidding Summer adieu. It's always had a bittersweet feeling to me that's always more sweet than bitter. I love nature's signs of the seasons, too, from the cooling temperatures to the beautiful changes in foliage.

Here in Dallas, we don't get much of an Autumn. I grew up in Upstate New York with probably the prettiest Autumns you could ever see. I miss the the fresh apples from the apple orchards, the smell of the leaves, the colors on the trees, the dusks...gosh I do miss alot about fall!!
1Autumn is my favorite season! I love the crisp evenings, beautiful changing leaves, wearing hoodies, football, and that unmistakable scent in the air.
2When I was younger, Autumn meant the end of my Summer freedom. But now I enjoy watching the leaves change and the wearing layers of clothes in the cool air. My grandfather grows pumpkins in his garden, so I look forward to that every year.
3Wow, that cabin reminds me so much of my dad's house.
4I love Autumn mainly because the temp finally drops below 90 degrees!

My favorite part? That's hard. But I'd say it's when the humidity *finally* leaves the air and it is just so crisp and rich with O2.
6I wish it was autumn all year long. It's my favorite season. I love the colours, the crisp air, the warmer clothes, the scent in the air, the comfort foods, the Holidays coming, Halloween,... I love it all!
