I've told you about patchwork chair makeovers and facelifts for the Egg chair, but by far, my favorite patchwork reupholsterer is the iconic and eccentric East London company Squint. Started by sculptor and painter Lisa Whatmough just three years ago, the company has grown by leaps and bounds, and now has a full range of items, from chairs and chaises to pendant lamps and mirrors.

Of course, these designs, many of which are custom-made, aren't cheap. Sofas go for anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 or more.
If I had the spare change, I would definitely order one of these pieces. I'm particularly fond of the round pendant lamps, which are made of glass and covered in fabric. I have a feeling I might be able to DIY one myself, and might get on that project soon. Which designs do you like?

I'm in love with this sofa! Some of their other designs are really great, too.
1I like the sofas but have the feeling I would grow tired of the design fairly quickly.
