my bf and i have built things haha! Not anytign major but it took effort that for sure!

My personal experience is limited to assembling furniture (setting up my 3 ikea billy bookcases while my husband was out of town was quite a chore--I now consider myself an ikea expert btw) but I assisted my husband in building our raised veggie planter.

Not really but I can gas and arc weld.

I've built a few small things (a plant stand, some wall shelves), but I wouldn't say "I can hold my own when it comes to lumber and power tools." I aim to be, though - I loved exploring my dad's (very basic) workshop when I was little and I'd love to be able to build a playhouse for my kids or a simple piece of furniture.

I built this city on rock and roll. Does that count?

I built my headboard. And I do a lot of projects with my husband.

I haven't built anything yet, but it's something I really want to do some day!

I've built a number of things by the time was a teenager but took my game to a whole new level when I did an AmeriCorps program in Montana... I learned to work with natural materials there for government agencies and even got on an alternative building project doing some straw-bale construction and other less resource intensive methods.

My dad is a master when it comes to building things. I've helped him with several projects. I love me some power tools!
