For those of you who decided to splurge on the Peacock Chair, I have found the perfect lamp shade to go with it! And for those who restrained themselves, I've got a more affordable ostentatious bird for you. The Anthropologie Plumage Shade ($108) is embroidered in silk with peacocks strutting about a navy cotton background. It may be overly embellished for some, but if you've taken a liking to the peacock trend, I'm sure you can handle a little fuss. What do you think?

i love anthro! i'm always waiting to get their fun funky pillows on sale. I bought one recently though, and I learned you can have one too many funky pillows in your house. Also, I splurged on an ebroidered lampshade for my bedroom about 8 months ago. I was in love with it then, and I still like it, but I'm thinking of putting it away for a while and bringing back it's boring beige sister shade. Just for a change. I love patterns and I tend to get way too many going at once, and my place looks like a gypsy lives there.
