I recently found Crafter user Lilyvanilli's beautiful hand-embroidered tea towel on Craftster. She writes that, "This was my first time using one of those blue, water-soluble markers and I gotta say, I'm hooked! The pattern lines came off so easy and it was really nice to be able to mess up on my lines and not have to redo the entire pattern. I highly recommend that marker for anyone doing lazy daisy stitch!"

Beautiful, isn't it? And I love her choice of colors. While I'm only an occasional embroiderer, this tea towel is inspiring me to start a project.

Very beautiful work! I've never heard of those kinds of markers, I guess I'm a bit out of the loop. I bet they would be great for marking alterations when sewing. Gonna have to look into that...
1wow, i love the colors too.
2I've used the blue markers often and I find the line always comes back unless you really soak the fabric, which isn't always an option.
3And this embroidery is BEAUTIFUL!
4Beautiful. It reminds me of my mother's embroidery. She was into it in a major, major way. Love it.
