Home Away From Home: A Garden Tour in Laos
Temples Next to Homes
This random brick path divided homes from a Buddhist temple. There was a beautiful ritual I witnessed at 5:30 in the morning. The monks in their saffron-colored robes did their alms walk, while neighbors lined up to give them food for the day. They'd put say, sticky rice, into the metal containers each monk held by his side.
