Home Away From Home: A Garden Tour in Laos
Saffron Robes Like Marigolds
Even the monks' robes in Laos looked like flowers — marigolds to be precise. It's considered disrespectful to directly photograph them (too bad some tourists acted so inconsiderately), so I took indirect photos. I'd take photos either of their backs, or, as in this picture, of their beautiful saffron-colored robes hanging out to dry.
