Boy Playing Guitar Near the Mekong River
As I left my hotel to go explore the city on foot, I noticed this boy playing the guitar really softly and singing to himself. (That's the Mekong River in the back.) Laos is known as a very gentle, poetic country and this scene summed it up perfectly for me. Hours later, he was still playing as the sun was setting.

Nice! I received similar pictures recently from a friend who has been working in Laos - what a gorgeous region. Hope I get to visit it sometime soon!
