What is it with men and designing female-shaped furniture? At first, I thought it was kind of funny. But really, the sex-centric furniture is just everywhere these days; it's getting kind of ridiculous. Exhibit A is the 1960s Female Form Fiberglass Chair ($10,500), a chair that proliferates the animal-hide trend, and takes the classic Louis XV chair to a "sensual" level — kind of like a dirty version of Philippe Starck's Louis Ghost Chair. I must say I'm a little confused by the back of this chair though; this lady looks to be double-jointed. What do you think? Funny or misogynistic?

This is just tasteless and for the price it's only worthy of lighter fluid and a match.
1Things like this should be banned.
I'm not one that offends easily, but this is just vile. And the use of cow print in conjunction with the contorted female form is further demeaning.
2Nasty.
3Gross
4I don't think I even understand enough of what is going on there to be offended...
5Looks like she's spreading her legs for you, GROSS!
6Plus the cow print is kinda insulting too!
7very "a clockwork orange".
8I'm not feeling anything sensual or intriguingly surreal about it. It's like a slap in the face. I'll pass.
9I find it more of an insult to those of us who have, you know, /good/ taste in furniture. I don't get offended easily, and I've seen far worse things out on the market today.
10this is so so so ugly ,really ugly
