I came across yet another furnishing for your man's hipster dude haven and couldn't resist sharing. No true hipster dude would willingly ruin a valuable record like ELO's Time, but if it were unusable, he might hang it on the wall as a clock. The Electric Light Orchestra Vinyl Record Clock ($25) gives new life to some good tunes too scratched to enjoy, with a handsome set of white clock hands. I particularly like how the clock hands mimic the yellow and pink spotlights on the record label (and I've always had a soft spot for ELO). What do you think? Would you give this clock the time of day or is it just not your style?

I would have to paint numbers (at least the 12, 3, 6 and 9 numbers) in order to tell the time. It bugs me when there's no numbers. It would look cool in a garage or retro cafe.
1If my kitchen had a retro vibe it would look great in it. I'm with you Ellenora, I need numbers on the clock as well.
2i actually have something really similar to this on my wall. there's a huge discount used music store near my house, and about 2 years ago i bought about sixteen six inch vinyl records and made a collage of them on my wall. i'm thinking about getting one of those diy clock sets now and turning one of them into a clock. it's such a cute idea. and i'm glad a designer somewhere has an idea - that i had first!
3I like it a lot! I love ELO and I have a music room where this would be perfect in!
4luv it
5I'm not a fan of this...
6Why ruin a record?!!!!!!
