We do the same! Get some good music going- usually start at opposites of the room and work through messes together- it's not fair or fun if someone is sitting around and the other is cleaning!

I do a majority of the cleaning, he tidies more then he cleans.
He'll do dishes, tidy or straighten up the living rooms, make the bed. Little things like that. I mop the floors, clean the bathrooms, dust, vaccuum (sometiems I make him!).

my husband thinks the cleaning fairy comes every night to take out the trash, do the dishes and clean the bathrooms. he does do the laundry...i'll give him that (not the folding, of course)

My husband and I clean together - or that's what he thinks anyway! I usually loll around while he does all the hard work! No normally I load the dishwasher and wash the non-loadable stuff. I also cook dinner and clean the kitchen at the same time. He unloads the dishwasher, and does the laundry. If we have guests the person who invited the guests has to do the majority of the work. But I usually end up hoovering and cleaning the bathroom because his standards are just lower than mine...

I hate cleaning, my boyfriend does most of it. I'm a good enough cook to make up for it.

I fall into that category and I hate it. It's partly b/c the hubs has severe ADD and doesn't see the clutter ... also partly b/c he wasn't taught good cleaning habits, so he doesn't know half the stuff that needs to be done. Thanks mother-in-law!

I'm trying to address it one thing at a time with the end goal of making it a team effort ... the first step is getting him to realize that the dishes do not walk themselves in from the living room, you have to TAKE THEM to the kitchen. Baby steps!!

i do most of the cleaning, since he works alot, and i'm home most of the time. the kids and i make the mess anyways. so why should i make him clean our mess? but i do make him do his own laundry!

This is going to sound crazy but my boyfriend does most of it. He loves to cook and clean! Who am I to stop him? LOL. Sometimes we do those things together but usually he gets in the zone with it!

Hes the cleaner (aka uses the products) and i am the constant straighten-up and organizer. I just wipe counters quickly, but he likes them to be spot free so its his job. He just throws pots and pans in the cupboards, I like them to be stacked by size (more room that way right?) so its my job. We take turns with laundry and cooking. I run most of the errands, he works from home the days workers/delivery has to come.

We make a good team.

Why is the couple in that photo still in their work clothes? Can't they take 5 minutes to change into something more comfortable before doing the dishes?!

Idk.....im 17, but i know that my brother does no cleaning at all and my sister-in-law does it all, even after having a new baby...lol my brother....watta jack A**

I do most of the cleaning. He only helps if I ask him to. My 8 year old has started pitching in and that helps a lot.

i live alone but my bf is there enough and makes a nice lil mess... and i'm kinda terrible at housekeeping.... so every now and then we both get fed up by the disaster that is my apartment and go on a cleaning frenzy... and i have recently given up and decided to get a cleaning lady!

I voted other. He cleans/picks up when we need it and will sometimes do dishes and stuff, but cleaning is mostly my domain. He does all the paperwork and financial stuff, so generally when I am doing dishes or laundry (I don't let anyone touch my clothes) he is filing papers or paying bills. He doesn't just lounge.

We don't live together so when I'm at his house, I do most of the Cleaning and at my house, he does most! it's this unspoken sign of respect that we have for one another's space.... it's pretty nice!
