The color gray has been calling my name these days, so I want to sing its praises in return. While the color does naturally make a perfect neutral — half-way between white and black! — it can also be bold if you use a lot of it all at once. Since it's so subdued, it doesn't have the same visual offensiveness that, say, mixing several shades of pink would. Because entirely gray rooms are few and far between, it's enchanting to stumble into one.I recommend mixing varying shades of gray, as well as different textures and patterns to add interest. Then, throw in some mercury glass, mirrors, and silver elements to add shimmer. Try gray on different material as well: metal, wood, glass, and textiles.
